After 434 days of no music making and abandoned plans to return, Ashford Concert Band joined together for its first indoor rehearsal this evening.
Thanks to the wonders of Zoom, the Band kept fresh during the lockdown by playing along to backing tracks of its extensive repertoire, but there is nothing better than hearing the sound of the full band together in one place. With social distancing in place and a very large hall, the sound was fantastic – despite some cobwebs, it was as if we had not been away for all those months!
