Our origins date back more than 20 years and we have been growing in size and reputation ever since; we now have around 40 members who meet every week to play a wide repertoire of music.
The band regularly performs around the Ashford area; we have played at fetes, bandstands, John Lewis and wherever we are invited! Over the last few years we have established our own annual Christmas concert where we raise funds for a local charity chosen by band members. In 2023, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with a series of events and concerts to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Rehearsals take place Thursday evenings from 7pm at the John Wesley Primary School, Wesley School Road, Singleton, Ashford, Kent, TN23 5LW. Membership fees are currently a modest £48 per term (or £12 per month). Please get in touch for the latest player vacancies.

MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Wesley Carroll
Wesley joined the Band as Musical Director in August 2022 and brings with him a wealth of musical experience.
As a brass player, pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and teacher, Wesley is well known around the local area through his involvement with a number of ensembles and groups, including The Salvation Army.
