Ashford Concert Band celebrated the festive season in style with our annual Christmas Festival of Music on Friday 19th December – always the highlight of our calendar. The programme offered something for everyone, featuring festive favourites from stage and screen alongside much-loved traditional Christmas music and carols. There was even a special musical guest role for The Mayor of Ashford, Councillor Lyn Suddards, for the second year running!
This year’s event proudly supported local charity Lily’s Social Kitchen and several of their volunteers joined us on the night to sell refreshments, helping to raise additional funds for their vital work in providing employment and training opportunities for people who identify as neurodiverse, autistic, or who have a learning disability.
